Hi, my name is Lynn Hall and I am the Coordinator for the Midwest SIG. We meet the fourth Tuesday of the month from 2:00pm until 3:50pm at SeaBreeze Recreation Center. No meetings in June, July, August and December. If you have a question about this SIG, send an email to me with your question and I will respond as quickly as I can.
This is an informal group for those researching their Midwestern roots in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Member participation is encouraged to share research tips and successes as well as offering suggestions on overcoming brick walls. Meetings may include short presentations by members or roundtable discussions.
Prior to each monthly meeting, a reminder email will be sent to members confirming the date, location and agenda. Updates will also be communicated through the Coming Events section on the VGS website.
New members are welcome. You must be a member of The Villages Genealogical Society to participate in our meetings. If you are not a member but would like to be, please visit our Membership Information section.
